A dead-heat occurs when two or more participants have tied in an event or competition.
For example, if the judge cannot separate two or more runners even after seeing the photo finish print, or if two or more players/teams have scored the same number of goals/points within a tournament.
In the event of a dead-heat, your return will be divided by the number of participants that have tied. As an example, if three runners have finished tied for 1st place in a race, you will receive 1/3 of the return for the bet which you placed.
